Waste Management

Waste management is an integral part of our every-day life and is gaining an increasing level of importance in the context of continuously dwindling natural resources.

Since incorporation in 1993, u&i has completed numerous such waste projects on behalf of its clients. These include a wide range of waste project types, not restricted to any one particular technology, such as thermal waste processing, but including several alternatives especially the various mechanical-biological treatment solutions available.

Specific expertise has been developed by u&i in biogas generation including conversion to useable energy, its treatment and its feed-in to gas network systems. The experience and expertise gained in this field can be observed from our detailed and comprehensive references.

Landfill sites remain a necessary part of waste management systems therefore clients' require continued expertise from specialists to ensure their safety from adverse emissions – naturally, the technical knowledge and expertise for this is offered by u&i.

On behalf of our municipal clients, we prepare tender documents for the procurement of engineering services, including tender evaluations, as well as producing original technical Public Private Partnership (PPP) models to a standard which fulfil the highly specialised requirements of such clients.
