u&i provides its clients with considerable engineering expertise in the energy industry not least in power stations. This extends from concept initiation, through analyses of economic viability, planning application processes and finally through to final design, tender management and on-site project management and supervision.

Our experience covers new-build projects as well as reconstruction and renewal of old power station facilities. In addition to our thermodynamic expertise of boiler system design, we have longstanding expertise for exhaust gas scrubbing systems in power plants, as well as undertaking other expertise such as technical building services, water engineering and all related infrastructure.

Regarding retrofitting existing as well as designing new power stations, u&i works with the latest simulation software programmes process system design.

Over the years we have provided clients with power station designs with thermal capacities ranging through from 15 MW to over 360 MW. In addition to this core expertise, we are able to offer our clients our architectural services for any manner of demanding industrial proposals.

Our services in the energy sector include diversified capabilities in designing conventional power stations as well as thermal treatment power stations and diverse renewable energy projects.

Furthermore, u&i undertakes studies for evaluating energy efficiencies in the production process.
